Quality Inn & Suites

We picked this hotel because it was the only one that allowed dogs. I’m not usually someone who complains, but this was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. All three key cards failed from the start. Replacing them didn’t help; they still wouldn’t work. The carpet was soaked throughout the room, and the tub was completely brown, like nobody had cleaned it. To make things worse, our room was directly under renovations, so we listened to hammering above us all evening. Nobody warned us, and they offered no compensation. Stay away.

I was there about a week. It’s more like an Airbnb in a hotel than a Holiday Inn, and it wasn’t bad. I just wish they’d kept the lobby as a lounge. I had to leave the area to find somewhere to work.

The desk attendant was professional and helpful, and my clean, comfortable room was in a hotel that didn’t seem crowded. But at $79 plus tax for one person, the price felt high for the room quality. The curtains wouldn’t close. The hallways to my room were at different stages of being painted. Since guests weren’t packed in, it would have been better to keep them all in a finished area while the nonstop work continued.

The people were nice, but that was about the only good thing. The hotel was dirty and expensive, and the pool was very cold. Breakfast was a joke: stale cereal and really nasty waffles. When I got to my room, the tub was dirty, so I had to wash it myself. The sink was stopped up. The pool sucks. Everything about this hotel sucks.
