Fairfield Inn Owensboro

The breakfast was better than most, and the front and breakfast areas were laid out nicely and kept very clean. Even with rain being tracked inside, the staff kept the place pristine. Our room was immaculate, with a comfortable mattress and pillows. The service was stellar from the warm greeting onward. The next morning, a computer problem stopped our keycards from working, but the manager and head of IT/facilities went above and beyond to get us back in and make up for the inconvenience. We appreciated their effort. We stayed one night on the way home and can’t recommend the inn highly enough.

We came for the Super Majors cornhole tournament at the convention center and had such a good stay at Fairfield. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were friendly, nice, and helpful. Each morning, the young woman wished us luck and a good day, and in the evening she welcomed us back and asked how our day went. They even cleaned our room while we were out, though the policy for multi-night stays is every other day, and brought fresh towels and washcloths daily. I didn’t get to try the pool, but the children I met in the elevator said they had tons of fun there. We absolutely love Fairfield and think they have the best hotels. If you need a place in Owensboro, I highly recommend it.

A great stay this week. The price was much better than the hotels along the riverfront, and there are several stores and restaurants close by. The place was very clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast was great.

We picked this place because it was just seven minutes from the family we came to see, right off the main road. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the recently updated room had clean, nice furniture.
