Super 8 by Wyndham Owensboro

The room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Parking was easy, the service friendly, and there were lots of choices at the complimentary breakfast.

The hallway and outside noise carried into the room a bit at night, so future guests might want to use a white noise app. It didn’t take away from our stay, though. We were in Suite Room 226 at the Super 8 Motel, which was newly renovated, spacious, exceptionally clean, and a real step up from a typical motel room. The full kitchen was a nice touch, and the layout worked perfectly for our family. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even going out of their way to provide an air mattress for the kids. Complimentary donuts and coffee were available throughout the day, too. We were very impressed with the quality and service, and would definitely stay again and recommend it to others looking for a clean, comfortable, welcoming place.

The location was a huge disappointment. We chose the hotel because the website showed a water view, but that picture was actually of the Holiday Inn, and Super 8 is on the other side of town. The area where the hotel is located is nice, though. The room was very clean apart from a few small mold spots on the bathroom ceiling, and the A/C smelled of mildew. Staff were very pleasant, and breakfast was decent, but the milk pitcher really should be kept in some kind of ice bin.

Horrible experience at the Super 8 north in Evansville in. We arrived late, and the front desk clerk told us to book for the 28th to the 29th since it was past about 3am. We discussed that, but in the morning on the 28th the owner called our room yelling that we had to check out, even though both the bill and paper receipt said we were booked until the 29th.
