Spend your money somewhere else. I booked through the Hilton app after an SEC game at ole Miss. The room was $243, a steal for a game night, and the app listed a $50 pet fee. When I checked in, my card was charged $293, which was the $243 plus the pet fee that had been preapproved. The room was old and run down, probably last renovated in the 2000s. The carpet was newer, but everything else felt dated. The spring bed was uncomfortable. It was last minute, so I just endured it. After checkout the next morning, I started driving home and noticed more $50 charges from the hotel on my card. I had already locked the card after the $293 preapproval, so I called. The nice woman who answered checked my reservation and didn’t understand the extra charges either. She said she’d take care of it and saw only the room rate and pet fee on my account. I agreed and hung up. About half an hour later, someone claiming to be a manager called and was extremely rude, belligerently insisting I’d underpaid and owed more. I tried several times to ask about the $293 preapproval and compare it with her amount, but her math made no sense. She talked over me every time I tried to speak and seemed determined to charge whatever she thought I should pay. If I hadn’t locked my card, she would have done exactly that. I wasn’t going to keep arguing with someone acting like a child, so I hung up and called Hilton. A very nice representative reviewed everything I’d told her and couldn’t see why the quoted rate and card charge should differ. She opened a complaint about the location and sent it to the general manager. That was three days ago, and nobody from the hotel has explained why they tried to charge more or why someone so unprofessional works there. Save your money and go somewhere else. This location isn’t it.

Dimitri is a gem, and the whole staff treated me with such kindness. Breakfast was great too. I highly recommend this lovely hotel. Thank you all.

One of the better Hampton Inns we’ve stayed at. The place was very clean, including the breakfast area, and breakfast was great.

The front desk staff were great, but the room was disappointing. The hotel seemed older with a superficial remodel. The TV didn’t work, the sink had a huge crack, and the tub’s anti-skid strips were worn down and slippery. Then the alarm clock went off at 1:30 am.
