My sister and I were driving down the Oregon coast and stayed here one February night. The night desk clerk had the room warmed up for us and was very helpful. It was spacious, clean, and well equipped, with extra blankets, a stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, and all the toiletries we needed. We loved the older, original character of the place. For the size and amenities, the price was a bargain. If you want cookie-cutter rooms, choose a chain. For somewhere cute, quiet, and distinctive, this is the spot.

Our corner suite was nice, quiet, and fairly priced, but the queen bed sheets had blood stains. I showed them to the manager, who seemed bothered. She returned and said she had cleaned the room and would never leave it that way. I couldn’t tell whether she was blaming me. That was the whole interaction, nothing more.

The record player and LPs were a fun extra, and we’ll definitely stay again. Though the motel is on the main road, our room was quiet. There were guests on both sides, and we only heard them when they shut their doors. The room itself was clean and comfortable, making this a great weekend getaway.

We had four rooms, one with a kitchenette, and found them all cozy and cute. The vintage decor was lovely, as was the old record player. We could borrow records from the lobby, and coffee and creamers were free. The staff were friendly, generous with towels and amenities, and the sheets, pillows, and blankets were nice. Love this place.
