The only thing that wasn't quite right was the bed in my room. It felt uncomfortable and springy. Otherwise, what a lovely weekend. Carla was an exceptional host, and the breakfast and happy hour snacks were a wonderful touch. The ocean walk right across the street was gorgeous, and it was an easy 10-minute walk to downtown and about 10 minutes to the aquarium. I'll definitely be back and can't wait to tell friends!

The chef's breakfast every morning was such a lovely touch, with enough variety that we didn't get bored during our 10-night honeymoon at Green Gables. We were close to everything in PG, Cannery Row, and Fisherman's Wharf, and the recreational trail was right across the street, so we definitely got our steps in. One staff member remarked that such a long stay was very uncommon. We said we were moving in. ;-) It was fabulous, and we're already planning an anniversary trip for the next couple of years. We'll definitely stay in the Lacy Suite at Green Gables Inn again. Thanks to the whole Green Gables team, you were amazing!

I stayed in the balcony room overlooking the ocean. We'd open the windows during the day, listen to the waves, and read on the day bed. The Green Gables Inn was an incredible experience, with absolutely incredible service and food. Everything was clean and well maintained, and somehow even better than the online photos. The wine hour and bicycle rentals made the visit extra special. This place will always have a special place in my heart. I plan to come back, and I'd encourage anyone visiting the Monterey or Pacific Grove area to stay here.

We love settling into the upstairs patio room, with its comfortable space and fantastic ocean view. Green Gables is our favorite place to stay in Pacific Grove. Breakfast is full and satisfying, and we enjoy the wine and appetizers in the evening. The coastal path is right nearby for walking or biking, with good restaurants and places to hang out within walking distance. Great atmosphere and service, too.

We spent plenty of time walking the coastal path and into town, and it was easy to charge our EV at the city lot about half a mile away. Ivey shared helpful tips and offered to arrange dinner reservations. The staff are lovely, and the place is run very professionally. It has a great blend of B&B warmth and boutique hotel style. We especially liked the refillable glass water bottles, and breakfast was the best we had on our travels. I hope we can come back.
