The location made it easy to explore: beaches, restaurants, and family-friendly attractions are close by. There’s mini golf right across the street, with Sonic, Starbucks, and Whataburger down the road. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy, and the management team was friendly. We stayed two nights and would definitely come back. The rooms look a little dated, but they were comfortable and had what we needed since we spent most of our time out exploring. Blackout curtains worked well, and although the beds were a bit firm, we slept fine. There weren’t many TV channels, and we couldn’t get the casting feature to work. That wasn’t a big deal since we were mostly in the room to shower and sleep. I’m particular about cleanliness when I travel, and this place met my expectations. Everything stayed very clean, and we didn’t see a single bug.

The continental breakfast had a nice spread, and the staff were very friendly. Stephanie was kind. The rooms were clean, tidy, stocked, and functional, and the surrounding areas were quiet and walkable. First visit, and I’d recommend it. Would come back again.

Nancy and Stephanie were so kind and helpful, making the whole stay easy. The service was great, everything was immaculately clean, and it was an amazing experience for the value. Highly recommend this BW.

The beach is close, and the room, grounds, and swimming pool were clean. It was pretty quiet around the place, especially since I was there over Christmas. The people at reception were nice, and the room was comfortable. Special thanks to Ms.Nancy, who helped with all my questions. I stayed three days and two nights. It’s a perfect place for a vacation, with really reasonable prices and the best service. I definitely recommend it for vacations. Elena T. 81 yo. Georgetown,TX.

4/10
The staff were very nice, but there were essentially only two people running the whole place while we were there, and that just isn't enough. We’d been to the Island twice before, so had something to compare it with. The location wasn't good: each drive to the beach meant making a U-turn in heavy traffic. The building is old and shows it, and cleanliness was an issue. There were cobwebs above the curtains in our room, and a cigarette butt sat on the stairs the entire week, so they clearly weren't cleaned once. Breakfast wasn't good either, with few choices, oversalted eggs, and sour milk.
