Juan greeted us at the door and made check-in quick and easy. The place was very clean, had tons of amenities, and the breakfast was fabulous. There’s coffee 24/7, and it’s pet-friendly with easy access to outdoor potty patches. A true hidden gem at a great price. Highly recommend!

I found clothing tags in the bed, and the carpet and couch both looked badly neglected. My dog even found and ate something under the couch. When I mentioned a wet spot on the floor, the hotel blamed my service dog and said I’d be charged, even though she was still in my arms and hadn’t been put down. If it really had been her, why would I have made a fuss instead of cleaning it myself? Management said they inspect rooms for pet accidents with a light, but it clearly didn’t show how dirty the carpet was. The front desk initially insisted I had the wrong hotel because they couldn’t find my reservation and said they were full. I showed my confirmation, and a manager eventually found it. Other guests had the same problem: our bookings had been marked no-shows the day before.

We had trouble getting into our room because the key cards kept giving us problems, and apparently none of the phones work either. A pregnant woman with a light complexion at the front desk was rude and made degrading comments about my friend, treating them as suspicious even though we were paying customers. That was unacceptable. She should be fired.

The breakfast was complimentary and honestly among the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. But the room smelled strongly of mold, and the door kept locking us out. After a long day at the beach, that was infuriating. You can get to the beach from the hotel, though it isn’t right on the shore. I wouldn’t stay here again.
