The pool and grill were too filthy and full of bugs for us to use, even though they were advertised. When my niece started the microwave, a bug crawled out from the back. We had to buy trash bags ourselves and seal up our clothes and bedding, hoping we wouldn't bring roaches or other bugs home. There were cockroaches all over the room. My elderly mother and son spent the night killing them with shoes and whatever else they could find, because the management company never responded to our request for roach spray. The company has stayed unresponsive since then, and hasn't even called. They only offered to maybe reimburse the trash bags if I send a receipt. No refund has been approved, so I'm working with Airbnb and my credit card company to sort this out. I reported them to Airbnb and plan to contact the Better Business Bureau when they open tomorrow. Black mold was visible around the ceiling and wall A/C vents in every room. We all woke up with headaches and burning eyes, and I'm convinced the mold caused it. I've been told that if mold is visible outside the vents, there could be mold inside the ductwork too. We'll all see a doctor once we're home. Don't stay here or bring your kids. This property shouldn't be advertised on Airbnb or Vrbo.
