The pool and hot tub were clean and well cared for, and the staff were very helpful. Our rooms were spotless, and the condo is right on the beach with a fantastic view. There were still quite a few small problems: we had issues with the water being off, neither sliding glass door worked, and construction below us was pretty loud. It was worth the money, though I wish the accommodations were more up to date.

The place is right by the beach and has its own private access. It felt gated, secure, private, and quiet. We booked four nights in February during the slow season, then liked it so much that we added four more days. We would have stayed longer if rooms had been available. There are two pools and two hot tubs, and it was never crowded. We often had a hot tub to ourselves. We’ll definitely come back.

Solaire Condos felt dirty, crumbling, and so neglected that an abandoned building might seem more inviting. The hallway smell was awful, like a dumpster fire mixed with gym socks and old seafood, with a chemical “ocean breeze” scent sprayed over it. Aerosol misters ran constantly. The lighting was dim enough to hide the filth underfoot, but still left the place feeling creepy. Staying there was like living inside an 1980s horror movie crime scene. I’d stay far away.

We got a great deal on a spacious place and had a great trip. From the balcony of 1006, you can see the bay on the right, town in front, and the Gulf on the left. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and we’d definitely stay here again. A few things need updating: scuffs on some walls and doors, peeling paint on the master doorframe, and the ice maker wasn’t working.
