South Padre Beach Houses and Condos

We never got to use the rooftop like we’d planned because it sank underfoot when you stepped on it. The floors upstairs were uneven too, including in the two rooms and the room by the roof. The house was older and just okay, not what we expected. The staff were great and check-in was easy, and the location was good. TV was no use without a code or Netflix, not even local channels. Doing laundry was a hassle too, since the dryer needed three cycles for one load.

The view was great, but the house was dirty, the pool and deck needed cleaning, and several appliances were broken. The master bathroom lights didn’t work, and the mattresses need replacing. There weren’t enough bath towels for the 10 people we were charged for. They charged a premium for a place that didn’t come close to that level of quality. We won’t use SPI rentals again.

I had to chase my rental income checks because they were always at least two months late, and the billing was repeatedly wrong. They also sent maintenance bills for work that never happened. I let South Padre Island beach house rentals manage my property, and it was a nightmare. My calendar was always empty, so I ended up handling rentals myself. Guests broke things, and they were never replaced. I reported the company to the better bussiness bureau, the Attorney general, and the Chamber of commerce. I wouldn’t wish that experience on my worst enemy.

The condo was amazing, everything we needed and more, and the prices were great. Customer service was wonderful from start to finish. Jim stayed on top of everything, and Irene was really helpful. We’ll be back in a few months. Thanks for such a great stay.
