Upper Deck Hotel and Bar - Adults Only

We stayed until 6, when the music wrapped up, and had such a good time with a lovely couple at their table. The place emptied out quickly after that. It looked like another band might be coming for a second round, but we decided to head back to the hotel. We’ll definitely return. We’d heard about this place from some people on the Wave bus. Finding the bar took a minute: we thought “upper deck” meant upstairs, but someone soon pointed us to the back entrance. Inside, everything was decorated so cutely for Christmas, even covered in wrapping paper. The $3.50 well drink specials were great, and the pours were strong. We took our drinks outside, where every table was full and Winter Texans were dancing to the music and having a wonderful afternoon. One man offered us a couple of empty seats at his table. There was great music, lots of dancing, and a fun crowd.

The BLT I had was the best ever, and the Greek salad was beautiful and fantastic. My husband’s Monte Cristo and potato salad were superb, too. We had a great time with the bartenders and another couple, and would definitely visit again. We were only there for one night. The office was closed when we checked in at the bar, so we asked about the food. The owner happened to check us in, recommended the pizza and Monte Cristo, and gave us a tour. After dropping our things in the room, we went back to the bar, sat down, and enjoyed the company of the owner, staff, and another couple.

We’ve got two more nights here, but I already wanted to share how much I’m enjoying it. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is immaculate, and the food is delicious. My husband and I are glad we listened to the reviews and stayed here. I can’t see why anyone visiting SPI would choose somewhere else. 10000/10 recommend.

I only came by for food and drinks, not to stay, and had a lot of fun. The service was great, and the laid-back atmosphere felt really chill. We sat outside and enjoyed the live music. The pizza was great, and I enjoyed the whole experience.
