After six hours on my motorcycle, I found out my booked room was upstairs, and getting up there with loaded panniers and riding boots would've been tough. Evelene rearranged a few reservations to move me downstairs, which I really appreciated. She even got up at 5:30 to make coffee because I was the only one who'd asked for it. I felt bad that she had to wake up just for me. Very pleasant stay. Thank you, Evelene.

The staff are friendly and really helpful, and my room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It's an older hotel that could use renovation. Maintenance seems to be working in rooms almost every day.

Mrs. Patel was so nice and welcoming, and the rooms were spotless. We were here as vendors for the Watermelon Festival, and everything about our stay was amazing. I'd give it 50 stars if I could. I'll definitely stay here every year. Thank you!

Miss Bela knows how this place runs and keeps an eye on everything, including her orchids. It's a small town hotel, so the manager knows your room number and will help with electrical trouble even in the middle of the night. Mom and I were very happy with our stay, aside from a small Direct TV access problem and that electrical issue. The coffee's in the lobby, and the fridge has a little inset freezer. Comfortable beds, fresh linens each day, a quiet room, and the A/C worked well. There aren't many locally run hotels around here, and the staff are great. For the Queen’s Cup, the annual steeplechase, it's just a 30 minute drive down back roads to Waxhaw/Mineral Springs, so you can avoid the traffic. Try it!
