The Peaceful Pelican LLC

The view was beautiful, and the owner really made an effort to make everyone feel at home. We had to leave before breakfast was served, but when we came back, she made us a delicious breakfast after hours.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this lovely bed and breakfast in palacios. It’s a beautiful old 1800s home that’s been restored. Paula was professional and very accommodating, and I appreciated that.

The peaceful night outside in the property’s gazebo was one of my favorite parts. I also loved waking up in a beautiful room with a water view, and Ms. Paula’s delicious fig bread, especially since she shared the recipe. The home brought my partner and me so much peace and tranquility. Ms. Paula was incredibly kind and welcoming. A real diamond find. I’ll always recommend it to family and friends, and I’ll definitely return.

We found this lovely Victorian bed and breakfast while looking for a place near Aransas Natl Wildlife Refuge. The classic home is beautiful, and our room had a king bed, a bay view, and an oversized claw foot tub. There was also a small fridge, microwave, and wifi. There are no TVs, which suited us fine. Breakfast was beautifully presented and made with fresh local eggs, veggies, and fruit. The coffee, made with a keurig, tasted above average. Service was friendly, thoughtful, and professional. Pelacios itself feels a bit sad and isn’t a beautiful vacation destination, but The Peaceful Pelican is a sweet spot for analog time in a lovely converted Victorian by the water, or for a visit to ANWR.
