I hadn’t planned to stop in Palisade, but changed my mind about staying in Grand Junction and ended up here for two nights in early May. The orchard and vineyard views beside the Mesa were lovely. My small twin room, with a mini fridge, wine glasses and Lindor chocolates, looked out toward the Mesa, and the beds were very comfortable. I got there before sunset and enjoyed the cool, damp air while walking around the gardens and lawns. There were plenty of places to sit outside. Julie also made sure breakfast worked for my vegetarian diet, with fruit, juice and a homemade muffin. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and I slept really well. I’d love to return later in the season for wine tasting and peaches.

We loved sitting outside under the pagoda and taking in the beautiful setting. Julie and Bob were wonderful hosts, and the breakfast was a real treat: a vegetable omelette with bacon, strawberries and waffles. The room and bed were very comfortable, too. It’s a beautiful spot just a few miles from town.

The house is so handy for exploring Palisade. Downtown, the river, wineries, sour houses, the alpaca farm and bike trails were all about a 5-10 minute drive away, with an orchard right next door. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and the patio and fire pit made lovely places to unwind in the morning or evening. We also got a kick out of the chickens. Breakfast was delicious, with Julie’s preserves and salsas among the highlights. Julie and Bob are both talented cooks, and we always left the table more than full. They were great hosts, too, with plenty of helpful knowledge about things to do nearby. We’d absolutely recommend the Dreamcatcher for a Palisade visit. Bring Bob a Diet Mountain Dew. ;-)

Breakfast had farm fresh eggs, garden vegetables, fruit from the grounds and a homemade blueberry muffin. There’s also great parking for motorcycles. My guy and I were wondering why we don’t stay in BnBs more often. This one was adorable and cozy, with beautiful outdoor spaces, chickens, a garden, lots of flowers and trees, and a friendly pooch. Thanks to Julie and Bob for sharing their home with us!

Vineyards and peach trees all around, plus plenty of wineries nearby to check out. The grounds were beautiful, and I loved how unique the house was. It was quiet and peaceful, with chickens wandering around and hummingbirds to watch. Julie and Bob were such friendly hosts. Breakfast was great, with fresh eggs, vegetables and peaches from the garden, along with homemade salsa and cherry preserves. We’ll definitely come back.
