The room smelled strongly of mold, the appliances were rusty, and the furniture was coming apart. Someone had punched a hole in the wall, cleaned up around it, and left it there, but I was accused of causing the damage. This was an awful stop on my road trip to the Florida Keys. After that, I learned to check the walls and every inch of a room before staying anywhere else. DO NOT STAY!!!!

The staff were friendly and welcoming, which was the best part. The rooms had mold, old furniture, and maintenance that seemed overdue. Still, it's a decent, inexpensive hotel near Palm Beach, and we'd stay again because it's the cheapest option in the area.

Apart from the charging issue and breakfast, this is a cheap, very dated hotel. The furniture is insanely old, and the dehumidifiers in the rooms work overtime to keep the funky smell down. It's close enough to the highway and “good enough” for one night, I guess. How is this a Best Western *PLUS*? The breakfast is extremely lackluster. The pictures on third-party booking sites are 100% fake. Most of the hot choices seem to have disappeared over the years, replaced by a toaster. The fruit is apples, there are no waffle toppings or bagels, and there's only toast, without even cream cheese. It feels like they're doing the bare minimum to meet the “Best Western Plus” standard without getting into trouble. The Tesla NACS charger has been broken for years, and the hotel knows about it. There's not even a sign, and the front desk staff aren't informed. One charger still works, but with the number of EVs in the parking lot, nobody should book here expecting the advertised EV charging. You won't be able to charge. It's misleading, and maintenance doesn't seem to care. Fixing the broken charger would be cheap, so leaving it on the wall with no warning for years, where it looks good in photos but helps no customer, seems like an intentional management decision. In response to the hotel's comment, “We encourage guests to communicate any concerns during their stay, as our team strives to address issues promptly”: that's obviously not true. The broken EV charger has been reported for years, and there's still not even a sign saying it's broken.

This is my fourth booking here in the past two years as a proud Best Western Gold Member, and I'm always happy to stay at this location. It's very clean, and the staff and managers are great. Elaude, Milin, Carla Dana have big hearts and always make me feel at home. I highly recommend this Best Western for your next stay.
