Canopy Walk Breeze

The grounds and pool are really nice, but this didn’t feel kid friendly. My child yelled once in the pool, and an older woman got upset. She called a staff member, who told us we’d have to leave the property if the kids weren’t quiet. They have a kids’ water park but don’t turn it on because of the noise. I also saw another guest get in trouble with older residents and staff for having one beer at the pool. There are way too many older people with nothing to do.

Canopy Walk is a very nice condominium complex. We own a three-bedroom condo here, with pleasant paths around the property and a paved trail for walking or biking along the Intracoastal Waterway. The waterway borders the grounds, so there’s lots of wildlife to see and boats going up and down the channel all day.

The whole family enjoyed the pool.

The tenants are friendlier than the condo owners, and they’ve formed a bond to support one another against the condo association president and what I see as his delusional older followers. The association and some seniors have made so many rules that you feel like you’re walking on eggshells. An older man accused my ex and me of acting sexually inappropriately in the pool. We had our toddler with us and were teaching him to right himself and float on his back. We’d been broken up for years, so there was no sexual misconduct. I’m now not allowed to take my daughter to the pool without her mother, who has lived there for six years. If you’re under 60 and have children, don’t put yourself through the stress and aggravation.
