Legacy Vacation Resorts Palm Coast

We booked two suites for the weekend, but left early because the stay was unbearable with a baby. One room was 85 degrees because the air conditioner didn't work. They brought over two box fans after we called, but they didn't help. The other room had peeling paint inside the tub, and the conditioner was empty. When we called about it, they said they couldn't refill it. We also had to end our time on the balcony and go inside with the doors shut because people below us were smoking so much weed. The desk told us we'd get a refund, then denied it when we left. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The bed frame is the biggest nuisance here, with corners that stick out and are easy to bang into. The TV was new, but wasn't set up when we arrived, and once it was working there were only a few basic channels, so we used the free Roku streaming service instead. This was our second visit. We like how spacious the units are and how good the indoor lighting is, especially since there's not much natural light. The unit was clean and comfortable overall, though the sofa and recliner are pretty worn and should be replaced.

The pool was the highlight for me. It's a peaceful, quiet spot for a weekend, and although it feels dated and could use some modernization, I wouldn't rule it out.

The nearby beaches and communities are gorgeous, with lots to do, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Inside the facilities, though, several things need work: missing trim on sink and bathroom fixtures, cracked floor tiles, and kitchen chairs with worn support springs. We also found that the dryer doesn't stop on its own, so it can run for hours if you walk away. The $14/day resort fee covers grounds that are in rough shape too. About half of the mini golf course has turf and the rest is bare concrete. The pool wasn't heated despite being described that way, and the gym is in poor condition.
