International Hotel and Suites

The room wasn't anything like the pictures, and the basics were in rough shape. The bed frame was thin and wobbly, the furniture looked used and repainted, some handles were missing, and there was no phone. The smoke detector was sitting on top of the fridge, disconnected and switched off. Wicker curtains let in almost all the light and offered little privacy, and the AC stayed warm even on its coolest setting. The cleaning was awful. There was hair all over the bed, mold in the shower grout, dust on the fridge and shower, and the floor turned our feet black within an hour. We checked for bed bugs and luckily didn't find any. The water kept swinging from warm to freezing to scalding hot. We arrived to find just two towels and a hand towel. One towel was brown after we used it as a bath mat. The office never brought the three extra towels we requested, so I had to find housekeeping. She gave me attitude when I asked for more than one. After the room was serviced, we had only one bath towel and one hand towel, and they weren't even fresh. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want clean rooms, privacy, or decent service. This is one of the worst hotels I've been to.

For $65 a night, the room was a great find. It had modern furnishings, a full kitchen, and a balcony I loved. The service was friendly, and the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, one of the best I've had in a hotel.

We arrived around noon, and the friendly staff let us leave our bags in the office while the room was being prepared. By the time we came back, they'd already brought everything up to the room. It was spacious and nice, and the pools are big. I'd stay again.

The one good thing I can say is that the bed was soft. The room smelled unpleasant, and there were only two towels and a washcloth, with no toiletries. This place seems set up for long stays and doesn't handle short visits well. When we arrived, nobody was in the office, so we waited around for about 10 minutes. The woman who eventually showed up was unfriendly and snippy. We needed a heater during the cold snap, but it didn't work at all. There was construction going on and no warning, extra blankets, or even a basic courtesy. When I mentioned it at checkout, nobody apologized.
