Descanso Resort - A Men’s Resort

We’ve already booked our next visit and plan to be back next spring. Our four days at Descanso were so good that I came home completely happy with the experience. From the time I made the reservation, everyone was attentive and accommodating. Someone was always around with a friendly smile, fresh poolside towels, and a well-stocked cantina of drinks and snacks. Housekeeping kept the room spotless without moving our personal belongings. The pool deck and spa looked inviting under the lights both day and night, and we felt safe and relaxed the whole time. Don’t skip the complimentary breakfast and lunch, they’re fantastic. The pool and jacuzzi were a fun, social place to spend time, with a great mix of guys. Dustin and every staff member were awesome. The rooms were stylish, modern, and comfortable, and breakfast and lunch were provided daily. We had a fabulous vacation at Descanso Resort, and I highly recommend it.

I hadn’t gone near a gay resort in 30 years because of a bad experience in my early 20s. Taking a chance on Descanso helped this omnivert relax, lower his guard, and meet strangers who became friends in a safe setting. The place is a gem, beautifully appointed, with top-notch amenities. The staff were chef’s kiss, especially Dustin and Gennaro, who we interacted with most. They were so friendly and committed to making sure we had a good time. The pool was clean and kept at 90 degrees day and night. We don’t usually return to places we’ve visited, but we’ll be coming back to Palm Springs and Descanso. Can’t wait!

The room was comfortable, and I spent most of my solo stay at Descanso by the pool and hot tub. The property was well equipped and maintained, and the breakfasts and lunches they provided were delicious. Dustin and the whole team were incredibly friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful time and can’t wait to stay again.
