The hot tub was out of action during our September '25 visit, which was a big downside for us. It’s one of our favorite things on US road trips, and I later saw other reviews suggesting it may have been unavailable for a while. It would help if the property advertised this, so people comparing the many nice options in town know what to expect. It may be fixed by now, but I can only speak to when we were there. We stayed two midweek nights and found the place affordable, quirky, comfortable, and relaxing. Getting in felt a little strange because the system was automated. We arrived slightly early, and the gate code wouldn’t work. Luckily, we had Wi-Fi in our rental car and could email to try to get access, but I still miss having a person at reception to welcome you and sort things out. Inside, the room was clean and decorated in the classic Palm Springs retro style we love. It had everything we needed and was comfortable enough that I could happily have stayed a couple more nights. The peaceful location was still walkable to downtown shops and restaurants, and there was enough parking when we were there. The grounds were kept up nicely, with a lovely pool and cooking facilities for longer stays. The weather was unusually wet, so we only managed one short dip over the couple of days. The pool was clean, and there were enough loungers. The sun came back just as we were checking out. We were happy with the motel and would return if the hot tub was working.

The quiet, comfortable rooms and calming pool view made for a lovely weekend. The place had a cute 70s look, but still felt clean and modern. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating over email and text, and even left us a complimentary bottle of prosecco for our anniversary. We chose it for a weekend away because it looked appealing and cost less than the nearby boutique hotels. It ended up exceeding our expectations. I’d recommend it to anyone after a cute hotel in a normal price range.

I like this hotel, though the rooms vary a lot. Some still feel original, while others have been nicely updated. Like many Palm Springs hotels, check-in is handled at another property and they prefer guests to text. The old welcome greetings, drink, and happy hour are gone, and I rated service lower because no one was there in person. I got to see room 2, a large one-bedroom with two baths, a huge living room, and a back patio. Its kitchen was updated, but in an odd way. Room 2 was a decent-sized studio, mostly original, with a big closet and dressing area, but it smelled musty, maybe from the carpet. Room 15 was fully updated and smaller than rooms 1 and 2, though they kept the original bathroom, which was super cute. Someone else said room 6 was great. The photos I included are from rooms 2 and 15.

The room was exceptionally clean and quiet, with welcome snacks and drinks. Our kitchenette was well stocked, the shower was nice, and there were lots of toiletries, even deodorant. The robes were a nice touch, and the cleaning staff were lovely. The king bed was softer than we like, though still very comfortable. We stayed two nights. The jacuzzi wasn’t working, and that wasn’t mentioned on the website, though we booked through booking.com. For the price, it felt a little high given that. There were no TV instructions, but we figured it out.

A quiet place to recharge, tucked by the foothills in a great location. The grounds were manicured and well maintained, and parking was simple and convenient. Everything was contactless, with nobody on site, though they sent daily check-in texts.
