We couldn’t make our planned four-night couples trip to Desert Paradise because of air traffic control problems at the airport. We’d booked at a discounted price and had been looking forward to the gorgeous grounds and relaxing by the pool. Christopher, the general manager, was understanding and accommodating about what happened. That left me feeling positive about how they treat their customers, and I’m planning to stay at Desert Paradise in the future.
The small touches made this stay memorable: free breakfast, soda and sparkling water by the pool, and filtered water machines in every room for filling bottles. The pool and hot tub were very clean, and the whole place had a relaxed feel. This clothing-optional resort has just 12 rooms, so it feels intimate. Carson and Christopher were professional, kind, and accommodating. You’re close to everything Palm Springs offers, with downtown bars, restaurants, nightlife, and other resorts only minutes away. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be back. Thanks, Desert Paradise Resort.
I’ve stayed at this resort several times, and this visit had the best service yet. Christopher Jenkins, the general manager, went above and beyond as a host. Room service, breakfast, and the accommodations were all great. A good place to stay when visiting Palm Springs.
Even during a rare cold, rainy weekend, we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return. The rooms and grounds were clean, and we quickly befriended George, the resident turtle (she/her). When an unusual desert storm knocked out the power, Christopher hurried around with flashlights for everyone. He and the staff clearly cared about our experience, and the other guests were fun to meet. Breakfast is ordered between 8 and 10 a.m. and brought to your room or by the pool, with cereal in different flavors, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels and toppings, plus more. Saturday afternoon happy hour is worth catching too, and the neighbors can be VERY friendly. We felt welcomed and looked after from the moment we arrived. We’ll never stay anywhere else in PS but Desert Paradise!
I spent about 80% of this trip sunbathing, swimming, soaking, or sitting in the sauna. Coming from a colder climate, it was divine to unplug and just relax. Meeting other guests by the pool was a big plus, and the atmosphere felt friendly and communal. It was my first clothing-optional stay, and it was a great experience. We’ll book here again. The property feels like it’s getting bigger and better, and everything really was perfect for us. I wouldn’t change a thing. Desert Paradise is a serene spot off Ramon, a welcome break from Palm Springs’ many things to do. It has new owners and management, and you can see the care going into refurbishing the place. We booked fairly late, in January for February, and Christopher, the charming and attentive general manager, showed us around the grounds, amenities, and room when we arrived. The resort is understated rather than luxurious, but it still offers a luxury sort of experience. Continental+ breakfast is served daily at 8 a.m.; order at the breakfast nook and it’ll be delivered poolside or to your room. There’s a heated pool and hot tub in the courtyard, plus a wood-burning firepit for cooler evenings. Both the dry and steam saunas were well kept, as was the outdoor shower. Water and soft drinks were easy to find, towels were available by the pool or through daily turndown service, and the staff clearly cared A LOT about guests’ experiences. Our recently renovated room was nicely done, with a large walk-in shower, new sink and fixtures, complimentary snacks, a minifridge, and a microwave. The bed was delightful, I slept like a rock every night. Palm Springs itself moves at a wonderfully chill pace, though there’s plenty of nightlife and attractions if you want a busy schedule. The place is a hidden gem for whatever kind of weekend you’re after.
