Desert Riviera Hotel- A Town & Desert Boutique Hotel

A lovely little spot if you’re into mid-century modern or the 50s. The rooms are attractive and clean, breakfast is amazing, and there are lots of amenities. Customer service was top notch, all for a great price. We’ll absolutely stay again!

My friend picked this hotel for our birthday trip, planned about a year ahead. She and her husband had stayed here often over the past decade and always talked it up. I hadn’t realized there were only 10 rooms, and the privacy, adults-only setting, and calm atmosphere surprised me. It was a change from the kinds of hotels and resorts I usually choose, but I was immediately taken with it. I had a really good stay and found the experience enlightening. I plan to return. The mid-century decor, kitchenette, generous closet space, lights, AC and fan all added to the charm. Our large window looked out over the garden and pool. On our first rainy day, we still enjoyed the garden, pool, and flowers around the hotel. Hummingbirds were everywhere and kept us amazed. They were friendly too. Wait till you meet George, the one with the purple chest. He’s approachable! All the staff were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Special thanks to Linda and her coworker, whose name I’m sorry I forgot.

The heated pool is beautiful, and there are fire pits, pizza ovens, BBQ facilities, and laundry. Breakfast is complimentary, and the decor and attention to detail in the rooms are incredible. The staff treat you like family. A fantastic hotel and the best place in Palm Springs!

This is a beautifully maintained piece of historic Palm Springs. It has all the amenities you could want, while still giving it a nostalgic, comfortable feel that’s hard to match in the area.
