Fleur Noire Hotel - 21 and Over

The vibe was relaxed and I slept well, and the little cabins are awesome. I got a great deal in the off-season in mid-May, and I’ll definitely be back. It’s an adults-only hotel. There’s a lovely cabana by the pool with a cozy couch, loungers under umbrellas, fire pits lit at night, and stylish decor inside and out. The hotel offers friendly service, free bikes to borrow, and snacks throughout the day, including Chobani sugar-free yogurt cups, bananas, sparkling water, orange juice, and fig bars. They also have cups, plates, a microwave, and cute places to sit in the clubhouse. The entrance opens onto Palm Canyon Drive. I enjoyed the 25- to 30-minute walk into downtown, and Cartel coffee across the street was delicious.

Bree made this trip feel special. She was warm and attentive, checked that we were comfortable, and shared helpful local recommendations. My mom and I spent Thanksgiving in Palm Springs, and the property felt calm from the minute we arrived. Every area seems thoughtfully put together, with a relaxed, chic feel. We were greeted with a complimentary drink, and the snacks and breakfast were just right.

The rooms are huge, the beds are really comfortable, and the pool is heated. Breakfast and snacks are free throughout the day, too. Corey, Bri, and the rest of the team were great, friendly, and happy to accommodate us. Such a fun place with incredible service. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Palm Springs.

The beds were the one letdown for me. The sheets were fine, but the mattresses weren't comfortable. Otherwise, it’s a cool, convenient place with a fun rosé bar and complimentary glasses at check-in. The shaded courtyard is a nice spot to relax. Seems especially suited to couples or anyone looking to avoid the family atmosphere at some other resorts.
