Hotel El Cid

We liked the stay. The property and our room were easy to access, and it was convenient having the guest parking lot next to the grounds. The place was spacious and modern, with nice outdoor areas. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is that one of the bedrooms had some noise, which I assume was related to the water or heating system.

The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful, and the location was central. Inside, everything felt charming and comfortable, with thoughtful, cheerful decor. It was very spacious for two people and could easily fit more. We loved our stay and would definitely come back. Don’t hesitate to choose this place for a trip to PS.

The photos don’t capture how breathtaking the pool looks with the mountains and palm trees behind it. Parking was easy, and several downtown bars and restaurants are a 10-15 minute walk away. El Cid was perfect for our vacation with 12 guys celebrating a birthday. We booked an on-site chef and bartender, and Jessica and Jennifer stayed in touch throughout and made sure we had everything we needed. We definitely want to return.

We arrived and couldn’t get through the gate. It took 40 minutes and several phone calls before they realized they’d given us the room code but not the entry gate code. There was no management on site. We also got only enough coffee pods and cream for one morning, so we had to go buy more. On checkout morning, a client asked for a last-minute Zoom call at 11:00 am, so I called to ask for an extra 30 minutes. They wouldn’t grant the courtesy, even though the next guest couldn’t check in until 4 pm. That’s FIVE hours. Never wasting another penny here.
