Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs Hotel by IHG

We left our passports in the hotel safe and realized it the next day. On three separate calls, staff said they didn’t have them. When I mentioned we’d file a police report on the last call, they somehow found the passports and phoned us five minutes later. They wouldn’t courier them, so we had to drive back from LA to make sure we got them before our flight four days later. They still haven’t sent a folio showing the room charges. The rooms were nice and the location good, but the staff made the experience awful. I wouldn’t recommend dealing with this hotel. Korakia has amazing staff and beautiful grounds, and I’d recommend staying there instead.

Being able to walk around downtown from here was a real plus, even though I had a car. There’s free valet parking, and it’s pet friendly, so I got to enjoy seeing pampered pups around. The rooftop pool and its views made the stay feel worth the price, too. I’d been a little disappointed that my first Palm Springs trip wasn’t at a classic mid-century motel, but this place won me over. The building and grounds were spotless, and everything smelled lovely. Staff were professional and quick to help. Housekeeping and room service were especially good, they put real effort into keeping the room clean every day. I’ll definitely be back.

We spent three nights here for a company retreat, and the beds were so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud. Jasmine took care of our whole event, from breakfast and dinner to the dance parties, and she was fantastic. Everyone on staff was friendly. The hotel’s right by the main run of great restaurants, and the airport is only a few minutes away. We had a wonderful stay and I’d highly recommend it.

Yon’s attention to the details behind the scenes seems to keep the property running smoothly, with a steady, caring hand at the helm. That kind of thoughtfulness came through in how the team treated us, too. Our stay at the Kimpton Palm Springs felt polished but still personal. The place has a stylish, laid-back atmosphere, with luxury balanced by warmth. Everything went smoothly from the moment we arrived, and we can’t wait to come back.
