La Dolce Vita Resort & Spa

We’ve stayed here about ten times over the last ten years, and we keep coming back to meet the great new friends we’ve made at the meet and greets they encourage. We use this place to judge how other hotels and spas treat us. The customer service, beds, pool, steam room, and spa employees all deserve five stars, and the owners are regularly on site checking that guests are cared for. The bathrooms are small, and the rooms don’t have fabulous entertainment centers, but we’re usually out meeting people, chatting, and enjoying the place. I know I sound like I love it, but try it and see for yourself.

I’d never been to Palm Springs or a clothing-optional resort before, and some of the stories I’d heard about Pal Springs had left me unsure what to expect. This resort changed all of that. It was clean, quaint, quiet, and relaxing, not loud or crazy like I’d feared. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and I’m so grateful for the most relaxing and best solo vacation I’ve ever had. I’ll absolutely stay here next time I’m in Palm Springs and recommend the resort to everyone I know. I love this place!

The resort is nice and very close to downtown, and I thought the service was good, though it didn’t impress me. It seems they’re already working on improving the property’s physical condition, and I think in a few months it’ll look immaculate. I have mixed feelings because I didn’t like the rooms’ decor, including the bedding. It’s not Motel 6, but it isn’t the Hyatt either. Three stars from me.

I went during the start of triple heat, and if I remember right, the first day reached 124. I didn’t mind the heat, though the AC in my room at the back could’ve cooled better. A dip in the pool sorted that out. The room itself was perfect, and the staff were really, really great. It was my first mini vacation here, and I’ll most likely be back soon. Highly recommend.
