Orbit In - 21 and Over - A Town & Desert Boutique Hotel

Brian, the in-keeper, was a perfect host, with just the right temperament for the nightly cocktail gatherings. We enjoyed meeting other guests and comparing notes about the day’s travels. It’s an absolute gem with a wonderful location and vibe. I’d highly recommend it.

My husband and I had a great time at this lovely MCM gem. The rooms were very comfortable, and the atmosphere was fun. We loved the colorful feel, music, cocktails, and location. Shopping and restaurants downtown are an easy walk away.

We’ve stayed at Orbit In so many times that it feels like a second home. The small size suits the place, the rooms wrap around the pool, the lounge chairs are well placed, and the architecture looks wonderful at night. The whole property feels just right, with an authentic mid-century atmosphere. Manager Brian knows hospitality. He’s professional and takes the job seriously, while also having a great personality and sense of humor. The women who service the rooms work hard and keep everything spotless. We love this place.

The complimentary bikes are great for getting around downtown, just a BLOCK away, or to the Art Museum, only TWO blocks away. Orbit In has such original, spacious rooms, and caretaker Brian is extremely accommodating and nice. There’s also a daily poolside Orbit-ini Hour with free cocktails and retro music. The Orbit In is one of the most unique hotels I’ve found, and I can’t wait to get back. You’d be lucky to stay here. My only possible feedback is that the pool could be cleaned a little more often. Thanks for a stay I won’t soon forget. See you again soon.
