Santiago Resort - Palm Springs Premier

The staff were welcoming and made sure we were comfortable without hovering, and they made the visit even better. The landscaped grounds keep the property private and cool, with the gorgeous pool as its centerpiece. In the evenings, the jacuzzi and fire pit became gathering spots, and we met some really nice people. The huge outdoor shower was fun, with plenty of hot water and wonderful body wash and shampoo. Our room was huge, with a comfortable king bed. The bathroom was small but modern, and the walk-in shower had room for two. Guests were a nice mix of couples and singles from all over. About half chose to go clothing optional, and no one was pressured if they preferred to stay clothed. We loved our first trip to The Santiago so much that we've already booked two more.

The way the grounds flow from the pool areas to the lounge spaces gives The Santiago a stunning, open feel. Even when enjoying the sun, you have room to breathe and relax without things feeling crowded or chaotic. From the moment you enter the gate, it's clear the resort has been designed with care. The staff are what really set it apart. They genuinely care about how your stay goes, and Kent deserves a special mention for being warm, professional, attentive, and always seeming a step ahead. That care runs through the whole team. Check-in was smooth, the grounds were immaculate, and the operation felt thoughtful at every turn. For a Palm Springs getaway where you can relax and feel welcome, The Santiago is hard to beat. We already have our next trip planned.

The staff were so friendly and seemed to stay ahead of whatever needed doing. The grounds were gorgeous and clearly well cared for, and the whole place had a relaxed, body-positive feel that made it easy to unwind and meet people. We had an excellent week at the Santiago. It'll be tough going back to a regular hotel.

The nightly chats around the fire pit after dinner or a drink were one of my favorite parts. In the morning, we watched the mountains turn pink from the hot tub with coffee, and later lounged by the pool under the rustling palms. The chairs were surprisingly comfortable. Santiago feels welcoming, friendly, and lovely, almost like heaven. You soon notice that many guests return every year, and after a day there it's easy to see why reservations are hard to get.
