Sapphire Resorts @ Vista Mirage, Palm Springs, USA

We felt good about choosing this place and would happily return. The apartment was huge and felt like home, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s close to town, so getting around was easy, and check-in was smooth and accommodating. Staff stayed attentive during the visit, and the pools were a relaxing highlight, especially with hours until 10 pm.

The grounds were kept tidy, with people regularly trimming and cleaning, and the pool and hot tub were just the right temperature even in chilly January. It was nice that they stayed open until 10 pm. We had a roomy two-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, close to town, and had a wonderful stay that we’d repeat. The staff were warm and helpful, and I appreciated that nobody tried to sell us a timeshare like I’d heard happens at some other places. A couple of things could use attention: the stair treads are cracked, though still sturdy, and the TVs need updating for streaming. There are plenty of broadcast channels, though.

The location was hard to beat, with grocery stores and places to eat within walking distance and good hikes a short drive away. Our condo had the essentials stocked, and the heated pools on site kept the kids entertained without feeling crowded. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the stay felt like great value. We’ll be back.

Walking downtown took about 20 minutes, which we enjoyed in the lovely November weather. The property was clean, the rooms were great, and the pools were nice. Front desk staff were consistently pleasant and helpful whenever we had questions. We visit Palm Springs the weekend before Thanksgiving each year and try different places, but we’ll look to book Vista Mirage again next year. It made for a great weekend.
