The pool area stayed peaceful even though all the rooms face it, and most of the other guests seemed to be regulars who valued the quiet too. I spent a week in a junior suite with a small kitchen and felt at home from the moment Jay welcomed me. Breakfast was available each morning in the casita beside the pool. Jay often baked cookies in the evenings, and one night he brought over an ice cream sundae with brownies. He works hard to make the visit memorable. A charming, warm, welcoming inn.

Jay was such a fun, easygoing host and went out of his way to make us comfortable. The place worked really well for our family, and we even got to spend time with his visiting family. Our room suited what we needed, with a functional kitchen, and the light breakfast was a nice start to the day. We booked at the last minute, but the pool was amazing, and the location was convenient for the tram and restaurants. This is the best boutique hotel I’ve stayed in. I’d love to come back to Palm Springs, and I highly recommend it.

We could easily go back and forth between our room and the pool, which was right outside, and the pool itself was amazing. Jay made us feel so welcome and took care of every request. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. It felt like staying with family, only better. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Palm Springs.

We had a fabulous weekend and were so relaxed that we scrapped our plans and just enjoyed the atmosphere by the pool at Villa Rosa Inn. The fire beside the pool at night was a lovely touch. Jay was a wonderful host, and his darling dog Toby made the weekend even nicer. Michelle West

Our two-night trip fell apart when we arrived in Palm Springs and found out the place had been sold and was no longer open. There was nobody there, and the new owners had no record of our reservation. They were very nice, but had closed the property to deal with black mold. Find somewhere else until it reopens. After that, stay there, because the new owners seem to care about their customers.
