Embassy Suites Palmdale

At 2am on Sunday, I had no reservation and had already tried several hotels that wouldn't take us despite having rooms available. This clerk went out of their way to accommodate me and my family. The room was clean and roomy, with good water pressure, a comfortable bed, working AC, and no cigarette smell. Service was attentive throughout. Thank you so much.

The two free drinks at the bar were the only real highlight. The restaurant menu seemed overpriced, so I stuck with Uber eats, though the free breakfast each morning was good. I was on the second floor above the lobby roof for six days. After a major storm, I found the bedroom and living room carpets completely wet beneath the windows, even though the windows were closed and sealed. It seemed the water might have come through the walls along the roofline. I told the front desk and they said they'd dry the carpets. They were partly dry later, but soaked again the next morning. Staff said they'd dry them again, but the carpets stayed wet throughout my visit. I asked to change rooms and was told the hotel was sold out for all those days. They were also changing the door locks to a tap system while I was there. After I got a new key, I couldn't get into my room at all, and maintenance had to open the door for me each time. Hopefully my company puts us in one of the newer places being built out there next year.

Breakfast was a highlight, with a great buffet and delicious omelettes made to order. The rooms were excellent and the property itself is very nice, but the welcoming, professional staff are what really make this hotel stand out. I'd highly recommend it for a comfortable stay, good service, and a great morning meal.

The included breakfast was so good, and made our long drive home more pleasant. I've been telling everyone about this nice stay. The rooms are clean, updated, and comfortable, with a little sink, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We also liked that the bar had free snacks, with drinks at very decent prices. The hotel restaurant has a small variety of choices, but everything we tried was so good. Definitely recommended!
