I came for a one-night stay because of a situation at my house, but left without question after seeing the state of the room. There was McDonald's trash from a previous guest inside when I opened the door to put down my bag. The shower barely trickled and then wouldn't shut off. The toilet seat was broken, even though this was a disabled room, and an electrical socket was broken too. I'll include pictures. There was also a plastic bag over the smoke detector. Why? Please see the picture. The curtain wouldn't close properly either, and the door had no internal lock besides the deadbolt. These problems would take less than five minutes and maybe a hundred bucks to fix. Why haven't they been handled? I wouldn't recommend staying until they start doing maintenance properly. It makes you feel very unsafe.

The room had a suffocating, foul smell as soon as I walked in, so bad I had to leave the door open to get fresh air. The whole place felt neglected and was falling apart, worn down, poorly maintained, and far from clean. It had an unsettling vibe that made it hard to relax. One of the worst stays I've had. I'd strongly urge anyone considering Palms Inn & Suites to stay elsewhere.

This may be the worst-condition motel I've ever seen that's still operating. At least I didn't see roaches, and when I checked the bed for bugs, there were none. The bed was ripped but not uncomfortable. The sink only had hot water, and the shower leaked, though the water was hot. The staff weren't quick. A cleaner walked in without knocking five minutes after I checked in. The pillowcases hadn't been put on, but everything was there, barely, and the staff seem to understand some things. They don't seem to know the remotes aren't interchangeable, so you need to enter the channel number yourself. Just press 7 and wait; it will go to 7. Keep the lights on. At least the bright, high-watt bulbs work. If you spot a crack a bug could crawl out of, stuff it with toilet paper. Keep everything off the floor, shoes included. You'll hear lots of low-battery chirping from the smoke detectors in the hall. Oh well, nobody's going to shut them down. Lol, you're in LA now.

MIKE, YOU ARE THE WORST PERSON EVER TO OWN THIS PLACE. There were tons of baby roaches and blood on the walls. Just sick. Then they kicked us out in the rain, after trying to blame my dogs for tearing up rooms. My dogs don't bother anybody, they're senior dogs with their own meds and toys. The bed was uncomfortable and sunk in. This is the worst place. No stars. I'll see you guys in court very soon for discrimination.

The strong, foul odor in the room made it hard to breathe, and I had to keep the door open for fresh air. The place felt run-down and poorly maintained, with everything looking worn out and neglected. My stay at Palms Inn & Suites was very unpleasant and disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it. Stay away.
