Hotel Keen

For a solo traveler, this was a surprisingly good deal. The room was small, so it might feel cramped for two, but it was new, clean, and laid out efficiently with everything I needed. Check-in took under three minutes. I wanted a very convenient spot where I could walk to everything, and the fresh room and nice amenities made the price feel even better. I'll stay here again when I visit the neighborhood.

I really liked the rooms, especially the divider doors between the sleeping area and bathroom. Mine didn't have a proper window, though, so I'd give the rooms four stars. The hotel has a great location, friendly and helpful staff, free breakfast, and a wine hour.

As a student, I found it easy to get around from here. Stanford is about five minutes away by car or ten by bicycle, and the Stanford Oval takes around 30 minutes to reach. There are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, and activities nearby for different ages. The team also worked hard to keep the rooms clean and comfortable. Akash and his friend were especially kind and considerate to me and to other guests. Their effort is part of why I'd give this hotel a solid five stars.

A free bike made it easy to get around town, and they can bring a gym set to your room. I also enjoyed the breakfast. The location is convenient for downtown, and the price felt reasonable for the area. I loved staying here.
