Leland Hotel Palo Alto

I opened the door to an unmade, dirty bed, McDonald's trash, a coffee cup, and used towels on the floor. When I told the front desk, the woman didn't apologize or seem interested in helping. She offered an upstairs room with a queen bed, though I'd paid for a king. After I declined, she asked me to wait while she cleaned my room. Once we got back in, the sheets had fecal matter and blood stains. I had to buy blankets and pillow covers at Walmart. I reported everything through their messaging system and was told she'd contact me, but I've heard nothing. Please check the sheets carefully if you stay here. It seemed to me they just sprayed Lysol instead of washing them.

A clean, updated room and a good location for the price. Mine had a Keurig, mini fridge, and TV where I could log into my streaming services. Noise wasn't an issue, and I'd stay here again if I'm in the area.

The online pictures gave a misleading impression. Inside, the bedding and towels were old and smelled bad. The walls were so thin I could hear nearby rooms and passing cars. Worst of all, when I returned in the evening, my door was wide open to the street.

The restaurant had a foul smell that reminded me of my girlfriend's downstairs parts, which smell like fish. If the manager had added that detail because he knew his highness, me, was coming, then I applaud you. Keep it up. But I did not appreciate finding fecal matter on my bed.
