Aqua View Motel

We were just looking for somewhere to sleep, and these were the best beds we’d had so far on this trip. We’re from Mn and had already stayed in three other places. The rooms are basic, but the price for two nights was less than our previous hotel charged for one. We were steps from the ocean, Patches for great wings, and the Jet Ski tour at Adventures at Sea. Everyone was really nice too. We’ll be back. ❤️ from Minnesota

We had a king room and found it clean, with a nice shower. Kara, Nathan, and the cleaning lady whose name I forgot were all great. The pool stays open all night, though there are quiet hours. Already looking forward to booking another vacation here!

The staff were lovely and the location is hard to beat, just a few steps from the beach. But the room was a zero for me. There were stains on the sheets and pillows, so I had to go to Walmart to buy my own, and the couches and walls were stained too. The oven was in baddd shape. The bathroom layout was ridiculous: the toilet was wedged into such a small spot I couldn’t sit properly 🤣🤣. For the price, I guess you get what you pay for, but I wouldn’t stay in that room again.

We left early because we no longer felt safe or comfortable staying there. A staff member came to the pool and aggressively yelled at a group of children with special needs. When I went calmly to the front desk to raise the issue, he got confrontational and shouted at me too. There was no apology or effort to calm things down, only more hostility. His glossy eyes and slurred speech also made the encounter more unsettling. Management needs to address how staff behave and treat people.
