Aqua Vista Condominiums

We had a great ocean view and the place felt cozy, almost like home. My grown kids stayed in 706-E, and my wife and I were in 503-E. Both rooms were spacious and very clean, with kitchen utensils and pots for cooking. Getting to the beach was easy, and we were close to pier park. There was plenty of parking, and the gated community and security made me feel at ease leaving my truck in the garage. I also liked that you can drive around the building to park a trailer without going underneath it. I had my enclosed trailer with me. I’ve stayed here 7 or 8 times over the years and plan to keep coming back.

Winn Dixie is right across the sheet, and there’s a local restaurant nearby that was delish. The area felt quiet and clean, and I felt safe and at home there by myself. The decor was nice, the amenities were all there, and the bed was dreamy soft. Best beach view I’ve ever had. Wish I was back there right now!!!

You only have to walk a few feet to reach the beach since the condo is right on it. The room was really clean, spacious, and felt homey. I do think the decor could use an update, but otherwise we had an excellent stay.

Aqua Vista was clean when we arrived, had nice classy decor, a great beach view, and Winn Dixie across the street was handy. But we wouldn’t come back. Renovation was still going on, reportedly for about a year: jackhammers started at 7 every morning, elevators kept breaking, and sandblasting paint got all over people in the pool area, where scaffolding was set up. Maintenance was rude and unhelpful. We were in 405W, where the kitchen wasn’t updated and the refrigerator wouldn’t cool. The owner said the previous guests hadn’t complained and that we were out of luck. They also wanted to charge our card extra for sand in the tub, having an air mattress, and turning the kitchen table vertically so we could get to the balcony. I showered before leaving and there wasn’t any sand, and this is a beach, so you’d expect some anyway. The pool was tiny and gross by afternoon. Some of our family were on the 6th floor in the east building and had to carry groceries up the stairs. There were so many steps to get to the beach that my back hurt and I was sore. Getting anywhere also meant dealing with lots of traffic since the property is past the end of the main strip.
