Bahama Breeze

I couldn’t stay there at all and had to find somewhere else, which completely changed my plans. When I arrived in October, my room smelled like smoke, had only sheets for bedding, stained curtains, holes in the walls, and footprints on the sheets. I said that wasn’t acceptable, and they tried to move me to a much smaller room without the amenities I’d booked or any compensation. That room had no bedding either, and the sheets were yellowed. I kindly asked for a refund by text and email after rejecting that room, but they stopped responding. Now their website seems broken, and I’m wondering whether this location is still open.

The room was clean, had everything I needed, and was right on the beach. No complaints, and I’ll stay again. One thing I missed at first: check your reservation messages for the check-in instructions, since this works differently from a standard hotel. That was my oversight.

The host was quick to respond and courteous, and check-in was easy with all the instructions sent ahead of time. Parking was convenient, and we were only minutes from where we needed to go. The place was fresh-smelling and clean, with comfortable beds and enough space for everyone. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood, close to the beach, with a pool and an outdoor sitting area. Carlos checked in to make sure our stay was going well and was a great host. A lovely little getaway!

The pool was warm and 9ft deep, and since there’s no closing time, we enjoyed a dip at night. We got there early, parked at the hotel, then spent the day at the beach across the street. The staff were very accommodating, and having a kitchenette was especially handy if you like to cook. This was perfect for us as a traveling couple, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.
