It was just my husband and me, so I didn’t expect all those beds and bunk beds. We could’ve brought all 18 of my grandkids! I loved staying here. Everyone was very nice and treated us kindly. I don’t understand the complaints, it was a really nice hotel, especially for a big family like mine ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The pool is a long walk from the front, and although there's a back exit, you have to go around to the front to get back in. The larger pool could use more lawn chairs. There are a few picnic tables, but they say no food or drinks. Our bathroom had no exhaust fan, so it got hot and smelly. The bunk beds were coming apart. We reported it and were told someone would speak with us in the morning, but nobody showed up. We also noticed a hole in one shower stall and took a timestamped photo to show them. After checkout, they charged us $250 for what could have been fixed for under $10. When my daughter went to show the manager the photos, they took her phone and changed the dates on both, so the pictures no longer showed when they were taken. It makes me wonder if they usually skip checking the rooms, or know about the problems and don't care. There was a crumpled sheet on each bunk, some fitted and some flat, like they didn't have enough sets.
The pool was nice, though it sits at the very back of the property and some stretches have no sidewalk. The wooden loungers had no cushions, and some were broken. We also couldn't find any luggage carts. We had three families waiting for separate rooms after arriving around 6, and it took another two hours before any of us could check in. The front desk didn't seem concerned. Once we got inside, the key cards kept deactivating. Two bathrooms had no toilet paper, the white sheets had yellow stains, and there were no blankets for the bunk beds. The room itself was huge and the bathroom was pretty nice, but at times there was no water pressure, probably because everyone was getting ready for dinner. Not the worst place, but definitely not the best.
For an October night, we paid $44 plus tax, which felt like a great deal. The room was enormous and directly across from the beach. There were only four of us, but the space could sleep 12, with two queen beds and two sets of triple bunks. The bottom two bunks in each set slept two people apiece. It seems best suited to large groups or families. There's one bathroom with three stalls and three showers. The room had recently been remodeled, with more work still going on, and the AC worked great. Highly recommend.
My family of six loved our stay. The rooms were more comfortable than we expected, and the beach is just a quick walk across the street. We were a little off the strip, so it stayed quiet outside. The pools were clean and nice, though cold, which made sense since the ocean was freezing too. The front desk staff were really nice, and the lobby had games for the kids. I'd recommend bringing a blanket if you're staying in one of the bunk rooms. We'll definitely recommend this place.
