Embassy Suites by Hilton Panama City Beach Resort

We had a wonderful stay in their spacious, fully accessible ADA room, with plenty of space for my chair. Check-in was significantly delayed because we came during the busiest time of year, but once we spoke with the staff, everyone pulled through. A special thank you to Brittany, Roxanne, and Madison for their patience and tireless efforts to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Great job!

The location and value are hard to beat. It’s a very clean, modern hotel, close to an outdoor entertainment spot, with the beach across the street and some of the most beautiful water in the world. I’ve spent more than 700 nights in hotels as a professional traveler, and these rooms are absolutely perfect, with a living room and separate bedroom. Check-in was excellent. The front desk clerk was very professional even though I arrived an hour early because I was still on the wrong time zone. The food is excellent too, especially the grouper sandwich, a 10 out of 10. I read a few negative Google reviews for laughs and can’t see what there is to complain about with beautiful water and so many entertainment options.

The free breakfast was top tier, much better than a standard hotel breakfast, and they even offer a pet-friendly stay. There’s also a great reception from 5 to 6:30 with snacks and two complimentary drinks, alcoholic or not. Everyone was so welcoming. Nashia was great at check-in and checkout, and Leonard at the pool bar was the best. Hope to see him next time. We loved our stay and wish we could give 100 stars!

The location is a 10, and the Gulf view, even though limited, was a plus. We needed a night in PCB and have always trusted Embassy Suites. We showed up without a reservation, which was our mistake, and had a lengthy check-in, but they had availability. The 5 p.m. guest reception with two free drinks was a nice extra, and breakfast the next morning was very good. The omelet station gentleman gets five stars for both skill and personality. The self-serve Belgian waffles were great, and I had two. Our room was a little odd, possibly an accessible room: there was an open electrical panel box in the living room, and the tub and shower had more chrome than a ’55 Chevy. The couch was a bit worn, but the bed was fine, and the television took some getting used to. Quite satisfied overall.
