Emerald Beach 1736 by Forehand Rentals

Our stay in unit 141, just before Christmas, was festive and lovely. Everything was tastefully decorated, and the staff went out of their way to help. The complex is beautiful and currently getting many updates and renovations, but we didn’t experience any inconvenience from the work.

The condo was roomy and clean, but the best part was how close it was to the beach. The water was beautiful, and both the sunsets and sunrises were gorgeous. Staff were friendly. Since it was the off season, we didn’t use many amenities, though the pools were open.

We loved the views and the beach and pool access, and the sunsets were gorgeous. We stayed at Emerald Beach Resorts over Spring Break, March 21-26, in a suite on the 24th floor on the Beach Side of Club Wyndham Resort. From the parking garage you cross the Skywalk to reach the condo. Grab a luggage cart when you park, since it’s a long walk and two elevator rides to Emerald Beach Condos. The downside was the constant traffic drone, loud subwoofers, and exhaust pipes, which took away from the beach atmosphere. Maybe things quiet down after Spring Break. We’ll definitely return, just not during Spring Break.

The water was out for three days, which was ridiculous, and the elevator waits were even more absurd. More than once we waited 30 minutes just to go up or down. Demar kindly helped things move faster one day, but he’s only one person, and the rest of the week was a disaster. From the 18th floor, taking the stairs wasn’t an option. I also had to shop for supplies, since a week’s stay came with only one extra toilet paper roll, one Tide pod for laundry, and one dishwasher pod. It’s a pretty long walk from the car to the condo too.
