We had to find breakfast elsewhere every morning. The waffles were hard, the yogurt was gritty, and the muffins were soggy. The front desk staff were nice, so I don't blame them for the problems. The location is handy for restaurants and kid-friendly places, but you'll need a car. The beach is listed as 1.5 miles away, which is too far to walk comfortably. The room stayed hot. The AC didn't seem to cool the air and only appeared to run when someone was moving around. Turning it to high instead of auto, as the front desk suggested, made no difference. I ended up buying a fan, but it only pushed the warm air around. The bed was mediocre too, and with my serious back and hip pain, I needed something more comfortable. I had hoped for better since the hotel had reportedly just been bought and renovated. I wouldn't stay again.

Our room was clean, and the staff were really kind. Breakfast was okay, though there weren't many hot choices. The room itself was basic, and the motion-controlled AC shut off when it thought nobody was there, including while we were asleep, so we were hot most nights. We didn't mention it to staff since we weren't sure they could change how the thermostat worked. It was about 20 minutes from the places we'd normally visit in PCB. The stay wasn't bad, but it didn't match the standard of the Hilton hotels we usually choose.

The carpet across the property looks like it's past its useful life. The place has fresh paint and a few upgrades, but time will tell whether it stays clean. In general, the Patels have had a poor track record with cleanliness.

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the complimentary breakfast was the traditional kind. Nice place to stay. Keep an eye on the weekend price, though, since it changes.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the room was clean and in good shape. Breakfast was offered, which was nice, though nothing special. There wasn't much to watch because the TV channel selection was limited. It works fine for a night or two, but I didn't find it especially memorable.
