The views were lovely, and the place was comfortable. But we ran out of toilet paper and had to buy more, and the shower curtain kept falling down. The shower pressure was barely there. I also texted the owner to ask how to get the TV working so we could watch our favorite college football game, but never heard back, and we missed it.

The room looked nice at first, but I couldn’t secure it or even feel safe leaving my things inside. Vacasa took my booking, and when I arrived, the master lock code they gave me didn’t work. It turned out the lock wasn’t securing the door at all, and there was no way to lock the room. I called to report this and was told they could cancel my reservation, but wouldn’t refund me. They were willing to take my money without providing a room I could stay in, so I had to dispute the transaction to try to get it back. I felt robbed without a gun. That wasn’t the only problem. The blinds were damaged, so privacy was difficult, and the couch and sheets weren’t properly clean. I was worried about bed bugs or lice. I wish I could give no stars. I’ll never book through this business again.

I’ve been coming here for 30 years. It’s close enough to walk to Pier Park and the beach, and the pool rarely gets overcrowded. In the evenings, feeding the turtles in the lake out back is a lot of fun. It’s a great option if you’re watching your budget but still want to be near the beach.

We’re at lilypad 2, and it’s so beautiful. There’s a huge pond with lily pads, and the Gulf of Mexico is out front to the left. Free parking at the condo, and it’s by the main strip of PCB on Lullwater Rd. I can’t complain.
