Majestic Beach Tower II Unit 1608

We were on the 14th floor at Majestic Towers for a quiet winter visit, and the ocean views were easily a 10 out of 10. The unit was clean, spacious, and well equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, plenty of sleeping space, and a balcony. The building is a little dated, but the convenient beach access and the views made up for that. There are several pools and hot tubs, a gym, vending machines, an ice machine, and a parking garage. We also appreciated the extra security: you need a key to enter a vestibule and another secure key entry to get into the room. Restaurants are walkable, and Target, Walmart, Ross, and Marshalls are just minutes away. It was very quiet in winter, though I can imagine summer being busier and louder. Our unit wasn’t pet friendly, though I understand some others in the building are. We booked through Airbnb and were very happy with the stay. We’d consider returning.

This has become one of my family’s favorite places. The whole property is clean and nicely located, and the pools are nice too. The staff are great, especially the women in the H2O lounge. Their loaded fries are so good!

We stayed for a week and found lots of restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance. Pineapple Willie's is about a 15-minute walk up the beach, and Coyote Ugly is an easy stroll. The beach was clean and the water gorgeous. There’s a fitness room with enough ellipticals, treadmills, and weights for at least ten people before it feels crowded. Each tower has an outdoor pool and hot tub, plus an indoor pool. There’s another hot tub tucked behind the building facing the beach. Tower 1 has a breakfast place on the ground floor, and the fourth floor has a nice theater with over 90 seats and accessible spaces. It shows weekly movies. When we visited in January 2026, it was showing the NFL playoffs, which made for a fun time with other residents and their football rivalries. Our only small hassle as out-of-towners was ordering delivery. Both towers share the same street address, but have different entrances and driveways, which can be confusing.

We visit around 6-8 resorts a year, and this one was disappointing enough that I wanted to write a review. The extra $250 fee feels unnecessary, especially when Sunrise Beach Resort down the road has lots of amenities without that charge. The game room was a joke, just a few tables. Two hot tubs weren’t working, especially the outdoor one. The bar is seasonal, Starbucks closes at 1pm, and the movie theater only had two showings during our week. Definitely won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend it. 😕
