We came for my daughter’s dance competition down the road, and the condo itself was comfortable and felt safe. It’s also an easy walk to the beach, with several public access points and crosswalks. My complaint is specifically about property management, not the condo owners, who apologized to us more than once after discovering how little they’d been told. On Sunday, we arrived to find the patio deck demolished and lumber scattered around while we unpacked. The patio furniture had been moved inside without the owners being informed. This construction should have been planned for the off-season, so that cost the resort a star. The facilities and fees were another disappointment. We paid $20 for a parking pass despite the assigned spaces not having been painted for at least two years, plus a $1 fee to use the amenities. The pools weren’t maintained, and the tennis court had no net and needed upkeep. The shuffleboard areas also needed their markings repainted. That cost another star. The resort could be nice if management gets these issues sorted out and updates the property properly. Photos from two years ago looked great, but it seems upkeep stopped around then. I wanted to be clear about what to expect during summer 2022 if you’re spending a lot of money here.

My unit was clean and comfortable, and the grounds were kept up well. The beach is just across the street, with Pier Park and the dog beach nearby. There are two pools, including a heated one, plus tennis and pickleball, shuffleboard, and a clubhouse with a pool table and dartboard. They also have daily social activities. Some dog owners left messes near my yard, even though the property supplies plenty of poop bags.

Everything we needed was close by, and the unit we rented was clean and comfortable. It’s an older condo complex, but it has been updated and looked well cared for. From the front pool deck on Front st, you can see the beach. The condos are individually owned, so there’s no office to check in or out with. We arrived April 8th, after spring break and before the busy season, and it was quiet. The weather went between sun and clouds, but stayed warm and pleasant. I’d definitely return.

I really enjoyed my stay and hope you do too. Getting to the beach was easy, the facilities were great, and I liked the pools. There were amazing donuts and ice cream just down the street.

We had a quiet stay with three pools, and the beach was right across the street at “71” beach access point. Signature Destinations made the reservation easy. It’s a nice little vacation spot, close to the beach and other attractions, while still only a short drive from somewhere peaceful.
