Seahaven Beach Resort - 5 Nights, Panama City Beach, USA

I was worried I'd made a mistake booking before checking the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were dated and a bit "broke In," though clean. The chlorine cleaner smelled overwhelming at check-in, but opening both the front and back doors aired the place out quickly. The view and beach are fantastic, and everything you need is within walking distance. The service people are nice, and the coffee is superb 👌

We paid for four nights and left after the first because the place was so gross. There was no parking, no pillows, sand in the sheets, and only one elevator. The door wouldn't even close, so we piled our things against it in case somebody came in. The showers were falling apart, as were the luggage carts that cost a couple hundred bucks. Cigarette butts were on the patio, and the air conditioner was falling apart too. I was lying in the car because the room felt so disgusting. This seems like a place for party teenagers who don't care where they stay. We paid for full protection but got no refund. Save your money. Someone responsible could take over this dream location and make it a good place to stay in PCB again. I hope the owner explains this, though the past reviews don't give me much confidence.

This is the first negative review I've ever written, and I don't need anything fancy, but this was just not okay. The hotel is run down, with roaches crawling around that I had to kill, as shown in the picture. The bed bottoms were nasty, floors were dirty and broken in spots, and the room always felt damp and gross. The tub wasn't clean and drained very poorly. The location right on the beach and close to everything was great, but there are better places. I won't stay here again. Other guests were also complaining that their rooms were worse, with water leaking and other issues.

We stayed for Gulf Coast Jam and had a great time. Taye booked our rooms, replied right away, and helped us add an extra night. She also made sure the stay went well. We'll definitely be back!
