Suburban Studios near Panama City Beach

I saw several cockroaches, including one in the ice dispenser, and there was a drug bust while I was staying there. The room smelled horrible, and spraying it or using more plug-ins didn't help. It wasn't very clean, and much of the kitchen equipment was broken.

I've stayed in two different rooms here, and both were clean and smelled nice when I arrived. Management and staff are outstanding, understanding, and helpful. It's in a great part of the city, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

Traffic on Rte. 98 kept us up all night since our room faced the street, and at 1 a.m. some clown wandered the halls knocking on our door. Unless I can get a room away from the street, I probably won't return. The staff were great, helpful, and pleasant, and the room was clean, though I did find one long dark hair on the bathroom floor. They don't serve breakfast anymore, so their information needs updating. We were told that's what the kitchenette is for.

I paid $100 for one night and it just wasn't worth it, especially with the hateful, rude woman at the front desk. The hotel smelled of mildew every time I walked in, and the hallways smelled like weed. They first offered us a room with double beds even though we'd booked a king, then gave us a handicapped room, which we hadn't asked for. Inside, the faucet was broken, the shower wouldn't drain properly, and the bed was rock hard. I've never written a review before, but the front desk service and the state of this place made me want to warn other people.
