There’s a rumor that minors may be sex trafficked at the candler road location. I called this location to ask them to watch for suspicious activity and to transfer me to candler. The attendant said, “this is flat shoals”. Anyone from Atlanta knows flat shoals turns to candler. Someone needs to keep an eye out. Minors are allegedly being trafficked from this hotel, and something needs to be done. The attendant hung up and didn't assure me they'd be diligent about keeping minors safe.

I just needed a room for the night, but I wouldn't recommend this place. The first room's TV didn't work, and the second smelled of smoke as soon as I walked in. Its air conditioner filter and bathroom vent were filthy. At 5am, I woke up feeling something crawl on me and found a roach on my face. I flicked it off, moved the bed, and saw dead roaches and an empty chips bag. Dust and other stuff were stuck in the fridge grooves. I called the front desk and asked for a refund at checkout. He said no refunds, checkout is at 11am, thanked me, and hung up.

This was my third time here, and 2 of the 3 stays were good. The rooms have been remodeled, are spacious, and have a very big king bed. I like the new lights, and there's Direct tv. It can be quiet sometimes, and the room was clean with no bugs, but there was no shower curtain and the bathroom creeped me out. Inspect the room within the first 10 minutes of check-in, and ask for another if you're uncomfortable. I don't really like the front desk: the last time, the lady yelled at me for complaining about noise next door, although it was fairly quiet on my previous visit. I checked in at 1030 for 65, and any time before then you'll overpay.

I have never seen so many roaches. They were on the bathroom floor, in the sink, around the stove, and in the walls. I was afraid to move my belongings because I thought the bugs might be in my bags and didn't want to infest my home. The tub and toilet were filthy, the fridge was filthy, and I'm not sure the bed linens and towels were clean. When I reported the bugs, the front desk guy said he'd try to find bug spray and leave it by my room. I killed so many roaches during my stay I could have paid for another week if I got a dollar for each one. The room was only $75 a night, but I've stayed in cheaper hotels that were 10x cleaner. You can see stains on the wall from people smoking in the rooms, and the wallpaper and baseboards are peeling off. You couldn't pay me to stay another night. I'd sleep at a bus stop or in a Walmart bathroom before coming back.
