Blueberry Hill Estate

The outdoor setting is a big draw at Blueberry Hill Estate. There are rolling hills, lots of greenery, and a scenic overlook that would work well for a ceremony or photos. It’s especially lovely in fall when the leaves change, and the property has a nice mix of elegance and rustic charm. You can rent cottages or the main house, which makes it convenient to have family or close friends stay on site. The newly built barn adds another gathering space. When I visited, it wasn’t quite finished, though it still worked for the occasion. I hope the issue with a heater breaking in one of the rooms has been fixed by now. The staff seemed accommodating and focused on helping events run smoothly. Still, this isn’t a budget venue, so I’d check the room conditions and whether everything is ready, particularly if upgrades are underway. It’s worth considering for a wedding or larger event if you’re comfortable spending more. The place is beautiful, and the accommodations make it stand out.

The noise ruined what was meant to be a quiet weekend. A bulldozer was running at the bottom of the hill for 12-14 hours a day, and I wish I’d known before booking. I would’ve stayed somewhere else. We rented a cottage near the top of the hill at Blueberry Hill Estates. The area is beautiful, and the room itself was nice, though the bed and bathroom were small. The deck was so dirty we had to ask for it to be cleaned before sitting outside. The chairs and patio viewing area were too dirty to use, either.

Tammy was our contact and she was such a sweetheart. The service was better than I could have asked for, and everyone was accommodating. After leaving, I felt sad to be heading back to the stress of big city life. We stayed two nights, and even with the circumstances, it was one of the most enjoyable stays I’ve had in a long time. The rooms were comfortable, and the views from the hilltop were magnificent. It was peaceful and helped me unwind. I hope I can come back and spend more time at that lovely cottage up on the hill.

We were disappointed by how the booking conversation went. Molly first gave us a reasonable Saturday quote and said she’d follow up with Sunday dates for September or October 2025, which is what we’d asked for. We checked back on Tuesday when we hadn’t heard from her, and then the price was higher, the available months had shifted to July and August, and only two Sundays were open. Sundays in September or October would now cost more than the original quote. When we asked about the first price and what she had told us, she wouldn’t acknowledge either. We asked to speak with the owner, but she insisted he doesn’t deal with customers and that it was her job. The whole thing felt unprofessional and left us wondering what problems might come up if we chose this venue for our wedding.
