The bed was worn and old enough that you sank into it, and the room smelled musty from the moment we walked in. Cleaning also seemed to lack attention: the restroom was dirty, there was visible grime in the drawers, and the soap was so watered down it was basically unusable. We weren't given any extra towels during the stay. We were also disappointed to find out housekeeping costs extra each time, something that should have been made clear upfront.

We took the upgrade when we arrived because the price was right, moving from a room on the 10th floor to the penthouse on floor 36. Totally worth it for those awesome views. It was a whole little suite, with a jacuzzi tub, kitchen, dining area, living room, and balcony.

The location was perfect. We could walk through the hotel to the casino and other popular casinos on the Strip. But the room smelled like someone had cooked seafood the night before, and the next day I stepped out of bed, missed my house shoes, and realized the floor was wet. There was also a foul smell coming from the left side of the bed. We'd already unpacked and settled in, so switching rooms wasn't appealing. During our four nights, we got only two sets of bathroom linens. We didn't want to pay $30 for extras.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the place was more luxurious when I stayed years ago. This time the furniture felt worn and dated, and the bed had a few lumps. It's only a few blocks from the Strip. We booked through Airbnb, and you get what you pay for.

The room was just okay, and it took about a 10-15 minute walk to get anywhere. The view was great if rooftops are your thing.
